Hi, I’m Nella, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki II practitioner, and owner of Salt & Sound Wellness. My fascination with the body began as a child, watching my dad recover from major heart surgery and witnessing how therapeutic touch could bring comfort. That curiosity became a calling. Now, 21 years into my career, I’m still deeply in love with this work. My training includes Myofascial Release, Medical Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Swedish and Deep Tissue. Reiki is my newest chapter, drawing me deeper into energy work, presence, and connection. Opening Salt & Sound Wellness in my hometown in 2020, during a pandemic, was a leap of faith. I felt gently led to create a place to step away, breathe, and simply be. My faith shapes how I see this work: as an opportunity to serve, love people well, and bring more light and peace into the lives I’m fortunate enough to meet. Doing that in my own community, one person at a time, means everything to me. Outside the studio, I’m a lifelong creator and dreamer. I love nature, writing, photography, interior design, cooking, old towns with character, travel, and time with my family and three dogs. If I weren’t a massage therapist, I’d be an author, designer, or running a tiny bakery. Maybe it’s all connected. I love creating moments that make people feel whole. That’s what I hope Salt & Sound can be for you: a place to pause, exhale, be cared for, and come back to yourself.
Hi, I’m Tracy, a Licensed Massage Therapist with 9+ years of experience and more than 20 years of experience as a Medical Assistant. I’ve had the privilege of caring for people from two different angles, and both have taught me something about what it means to feel whole. My medical background taught me to understand the body from a clinical perspective, while my years as a massage therapist have taught me to listen to the body in a different way: through movement, touch, tension, and the stories our bodies carry. I’m a caring problem solver at heart. I want to figure out what’s bothering you, connect the dots, and help your body work toward feeling better. I’m nurturing and intuitive, but I’m also not afraid to get in there and do the work when your body needs it. Sometimes you need deep work. Sometimes you just need to breathe and be cared for. I’m here for both. My training includes Thai Massage, Cupping, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching, and Rehabilitative Massage for injuries and post-surgical recovery. Every body is different, and I love creating a session around what you need that day. Outside the studio, I’m a devoted mom, daughter, sister, friend, and proud cat mom. I love traveling, the beach, sunshine, and spending time with the people and pets I love most. I believe caring for people is a privilege. If your body is talking, I’m here to listen. And if something feels a little “off,” well… I love a good problem to solve.
